Abodh Poudyal is a researcher in the Distribution Edge Group within the Grid Planning and Analysis Center at NREL. He is experienced in optimization and modeling of power distribution systems, resilience assessment and planning, socioeconomic impact assessment of extreme weather events, and AI-based applications for the electric power grid. During his free time, Poudyal enjoys traveling, painting portraits, music production, playing soccer, and learning new chess theories.
