Adam Yonge joined NREL in 2022. He develops kinetic models of catalytic processes at atomistic and laboratory scales. Yonge uses these insights to quantify the performance of industrial reactors, with applications ranging from syngas upgrading to alkane dehydrogenation. His research also involves exploring methods of heat control to improve the energy efficiency of chemical processes and to make alternative fuel use practical.
