Aditie Garg is a research engineer and strategy lead in the Building Technologies and Science Center. She has experience in building-to-grid integration as well as grid edge and demand flexibility solutions for grid planning and operations. Garg works on several projects related to strategies and frameworks for reliable and affordable building-to-grid integration of residential, commercial, and industrial loads (such as data centers) using state-of-the-art techniques, including machine learning and optimization. Before joining NREL, Garg worked as a principal engineer scientist with the Electric Power Research Institute, focusing on distributed energy resources; the integration, deployment, and testing of distributed energy management systems; and optimized control system algorithms.
