For her dissertation work, Alexis Myers worked at NREL with effrey Blackburn, investigating charge generation and exciton dissociation, mimicking photosynthesis in low-dimensional semiconductor heterostructures for use in photovoltaics, quantum information processing and solar fuels. Her passion for energy equity and environmental justice in energy transition initiatives led to her current position as a Research Scientist at NREL.
