Personal Profile

Alicia Birky specializes in techno-economic analysis, simulation, and modeling of emerging freight technologies. She has 18 years of experience in analysis at the nexus of transportation, consumer behavior, energy, policy, the environment, and the economy. She currently leads NREL’s FleetREDI commercial vehicle data collection and analysis project as well as development of techno-economic tools including T3CO, TITAN, and HD ADOPT. She also supports development and application of NREL’s tools in the rail and intermodal freight segments.
