Personal Profile

An Pham is a research engineer with a joint appointment in the Modeling and Analysis group in the Accelerated Deployment and Decision Support Center and the Capacity Expansion and Electricity Markets Group in the Grid Planning and Analysis Center. Her research focuses on long term planning for energy systems transition and examining feasible policies for achieving the energy transition. Prior to joining NREL, she was a research fellow at the University of Michigan, where her research focused on grid-scale deployment of negative emissions technologies and technoeconomic analysis of emerging technologies, including thermal energy storage in residential households. She also had experience working in the energy sector where she developed models to support operation of public utilities owned power plants.
