An Pham is a research engineer with a joint appointment in the Accelerated Deployment and Decision Support Center and the Grid Planning and Analysis Center. Her research focuses on long-term energy systems planning and techno-economic analysis of emerging technologies and distributed energy resources. She contributes to the development of the ReEDS and REopt models. Prior to joining NLR, she was a research fellow at the University of Michigan, where her research focused on grid-scale deployment of negative emissions technologies, power-hydrogen systems co-planning, and techno-economic analysis of emerging distributed energy resources, including small modular reactors in the transportation sector and thermal energy storage in residential households. She also has industry experience, previously working in the electricity sector where she developed models to support operation of public utilities owned power plants.
