Bharat Solanki is an energy systems researcher in the Applied Engineering group of NREL’s Energy Security and Resilience Center. An electrical engineer, Solanki has specialized in microgrid projects since 2014. This includes four years as a technical lead for Siemens Canada, where he contributed to high level conceptual microgrid designs, and the implementation of solutions for microgrid protection and control.
