Cindy Gerk has extensive experience managing projects, planning and communicating results, and working closely with industry and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) serving as a Project Leader and a Principal Investigator. This includes management of reporting requirements to DOE for financial forecasts, milestone reports, and annual operating plans'; and communications projects for the NREL Biomass program and Bioenergy Technologies Office communications team. 

Gerk has experience interacting frequently with internal and external clients and representatives from government and industry concerning projects, scheduling, and contracts; and analyzing energy data for renewable energy projects under the Treasury 1603 program.
