Conrado Ermel is a mechanical engineer specializing in heat transfer; thermodynamics; and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. He develops computational models of energy systems and conducts laboratory experiments to advance thermal technologies. His research focuses on thermal energy storage, system/component-level modeling, building thermal performance, and the use of liquid desiccants in HVAC applications.
