Professional Experience

Prior to joining NREL, Mulas Hernando conducted the economic assessment of a new proposed 10-MW wind turbine design for an ARPA-E $3 million grant-awarded project at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He has 4+ years of experience evaluating the technical and economic feasibility of offshore wind projects and technologies.
