Personal Profile

Daniella Rough is an international project manager in the Integrated Decision Support group in the Accelerated Deployment and Decision Support Center. She supports partnerships and initiatives aimed at providing technical, financial, and regulatory assistance to developing countries looking to increase the participation of renewable energy and develop climate change mitigation roadmaps. Prior to joining NREL, Rough spent 15 years as an environmental consultant and project manager working in the Dominican Republic, Guinea, Liberia, Mali, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Congo, Russia, Spain, Scotland, Peru, and the United States, where she managed hydrometeorological assessments, renewable energy integration studies, climate change mitigation strategies, and NDC roadmap development for the energy and transport sectors.
