Personal Profile

Danielle Henckel joined in NREL in early 2021 as a postdoctoral researcher. Her research focuses on the electrochemical reduction of carbon (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2) toward value-added products with a major focus on the scalabity and selectivity of these systems in an effort to bridge the gap between lab-scale and industrial processes. Her doctoral work focused on synthesizing hydrogen evolution catalysts and electrochemically characterizing nanomaterials.
