David Whiteside

David Whiteside has 12 years of Linux administration experience and a strong background in high-performance computing (HPC), cloud computing, software development, system monitoring, automation, and configuration management. He has taken on many responsibilities at NREL over the last 6 years that include HPC administration, firewall administration (Checkpoint), monitoring (ZenOSS), configuration management (Ansible), storage administration (SAM-QFS and ZFS storage appliances), web application development (Python Django and Flask), and cloud solution architecture (AWS).
