Deborah McGott joined NREL in November 2021. Her research focuses on the improvement of open-circuit voltage in cadmium telluride (CdTe) solar cells through passivation of the front interface. She is interested in novel solutions to long-standing problems and enjoys learning about diverse photovoltaic technologies.
