Personal Profile

Derina Man is NREL’s technical lead on the Advanced Energy Partnership for Asia which helps partner governments in Southeast Asia conduct research, analysis, and capacity building to deploy advanced energy systems. She also provides technical support on a portfolio of other international projects. Prior to joining NREL, Man spent a decade working with governmental and commercial clients around the world on various climate change issues, including designing long-term and low-emission development strategies; greenhouse gas accounting and analyses; capacity development and training design; supporting the phasedown of fluorinated gases; and climate communications.
