Don Young

Don Young works at NREL's Flatirons Campus. Before becoming a safety engineer with Lockheed Martin, he began his career working at NASA's Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, working in the Space Shuttle External Tank program. After spending 11 years working in the synthetic fuels, wind energy, and oil and gas industries, he brings his breadth of knowledge and experience to the team at NREL.
