Drew Pereira's research primarily focuses on battery materials (electrode and electrolyte) selection, development, and characterization for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Behind-the-Meter Storage Consortium, with the goal of developing novel chemistries for batteries with high safety, high durability, and low cost for energy storage systems.
