Personal Profile

Genevieve Starke is a research engineer at NREL working at the National Wind Technology Center.  Her work focuses on the modeling, design, and control of wind-based hybrid energy systems.  She obtained her PhD from Johns Hopkins University in mechanical engineering where she focused on wind farm modeling and control.  She enjoys researching complex wind-based hybrid energy systems both from a modeling and a controls standpoint.  She is also working on developing high-fidelity validation platforms for these systems.
