Personal Profile
Geng Xia’s current research is primarily focused on quantifying the impact of land surface modeling on wind energy from both the observational and modeling perspectives. Further research interests include remote sensing and its application in land surface processes, wind resource assessment, and atmosphere-ocean numerical coupling. The overarching objective of Xia’s research is to advance wind/wind energy forecasting through a synthetic analysis of observations with mesoscale modeling.
