Greg Avery is a research analyst within the Resources and Sustainability Group in NREL’s Strategic Energy Analysis Center. His work is focused on data analysis and organization related to examining the greenhouse gas emissions, energy use, and roles within a circular economy for commodity materials. Avery provides life cycle assessment support for compiling material and energy inventories, determines global weights for NREL's Materials Flows through Industry (MFI) modeling tool, and delivers background information for new model development.
