Personal Profile

Jayaraj Rane joined NREL in 2021 initially working on the MIRACL Project as an electrical engineer developing models for microgrids and distributed scale wind turbines to simulate the NREL Flatirons campus and test control capabilities and IEEE standards. Currently he is working on multiple microgrid design and development projects supporting Federal Agencies (DoD, USDA, USMC, Navy), communities and internationally to help achieve clean energy and resilience goals, and help develop guidelines for the same. Rane also supports the NREL Ports and Airports portfolio to acheive clean energy and decarbonization goals.
