Jeiwan Tan joined NREL in October 2022. He has been working on the interface engineering of photoelectrodes for photoelectrochemical water splitting. Currently, his research focuses on the interface science of semiconductor for photoelectrochemical solar fuel generation. He is particularly interested in studying semiconductor electrolyte interface using time-resolved spectroscopic techniques and understanding the degradation mechanism of photoelectrochemical devices for water splitting and carbon dioxide (CO2) reduction.
