Personal Profile

Jennifer Daw is a Senior Researcher and Group Manager at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Daw's domestic and international experience ranges from analysis and decision support to management and implementation of projects in the U.S. and developing countries. Daw spent the first 10 years of her career working exclusively with water systems, performing work that ranged from system modeling and analysis to design and construction, asset management, capital planning and sustainability strategies. 

Daw's work focuses on the clean energy workforce for which she is a leader in NREL’s workforce research coordination and strategy development activities. Daw leads a multidisciplinary team focused on Workforce and Energy Systems Transformation, which conducts analysis of workforce trends, provides technical assistance and capacity building and develops programs to support workforce needs domestically and internationally. Daw's research focuses on the analysis of clean energy workforce issues. She engages with academia and industry to analyze the state of the energy workforce and its upcoming trends, and develops tools, resources and strategies to support the energy sector’s evolving workforce needs.
