Jiazi Zhang is an electrical research engineer in the Grid Operations Planning Group within NREL's Grid Planning and Analysis Center. Her research focuses on large-scale power system modeling and optimization, long-duration energy storage modeling, high-voltage direct-current (HVDC) macrogrid design, power system resiliency and cybersecurity analysis, and power-transportation sector cosimulation.
