Personal Profile

Jing joined NREL’s Residential Building Research Group in January 2021. Her research focuses on multi-domain system modeling using Modelica, energy resilience, and grid-interactive building control and optimization. Jing has a background in building energy systems with a focus on HVAC systems.

Prior to joining NREL, Jing was a Ph.D. student and research assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she studied occupant-centric control and optimization for low-carbon and resilient communities.
