Overview
Personal Profile
Jinwon Cho specializes in novel materials design for heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis using multiscale modeling. His research emphasizes the design of 2D heterostructures for applications in electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction, nitrogen reduction, and oxygen reduction reaction/oxygen evolution reaction, coupled with electronic structure analysis to predict surface chemistry. He utilizes microkinetic modeling to forecast catalyst activity and selectivity under specific reaction conditions.
