Josh Schaidle is the director of the Chemical Catalysis for Bioenergy Consortium and has been recognized as a Distinguished Member of the Research Staff at NREL. He also serves as the Chief of Staff for the Bioenergy Science and Technology Directorate and NREL’s program manager for the Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management. He seeks to build and empower diverse, multidisciplinary teams to accelerate technology development to address climate change. His dream is to create a future in which the quality of life for each and every person is no longer a compromise between sustainability and affordability
