Josephine Gruber’s expertise spans a variety of microscopy and sample preparation techniques, as well as image analysis and computational modeling. Her research includes protein structure modeling, cellular dynamics, bacterial population analysis, and biomass characterization. She specializes in an integrated, multimodal approach designed to complement other characterization methodologies to inform experimental directions and validate experimental outcomes. Additionally, Josephine has expertise in image analysis, image segmentation, graphic modeling, and simulation using various types of micrographs. Josephine is available to consult on the entirety of the characterization process, from sample creation to data analysis even when unique method development is necessary.
