Juliet Simpson is a mechanical engineer in the Thermal Energy Systems group working on projects including hybrid solar thermal and geothermal power systems and geothermal district heating and cooling. Her interests lie in modeling thermal energy systems and performing techno-economic analyses. Before joining NREL, her research focused on compressed air energy storage and the integration of energy storage with wind energy.
