Personal Profile

Karlynn Cory is the group manager for Community Energy Transitions (CET) in the Accelerated Deployment and Decision Support Center at NREL. The mission of the group is to support domestic community leaders and other stakeholders working to accomplish its clean energy transition by supporting community goal setting, strategy, multiyear planning, deployment, financing, workforce development, and analysis expertise. The group is also connecting and communicating CET best practices, lessons learned, and templates, as well as fostering technology-agnostic, data-driven analysis that considers human decision-making. Finally, CET is encouraging broad-based community and stakeholder involvement or engagement.
