Kate Doubleday (she/her) is a research engineer in the Grid Operations Planning Group within the Grid Planning and Analysis Center at NREL. Her research focuses on grid integration of renewable resources with an interest in low-impact solar development. Previously, she was the founding chairperson for NREL’s Full Spectrum Network (LGBTQIA+) Employee Resource Group
