Keju An’s research at NLR focuses on advancing carbon removal technologies. An develops and applies weather and grid-aware modeling tools to evaluate the performance and capture-to-removal costs of direct air capture systems under a variety of operational scenarios. His work informs data-driven operational strategies and energy-sourcing options, while fostering industry collaborations to deliver reliable carbon removal solutions.
