Laura Dempsey is a researcher in the National Wind Technology Center. She contributes to the Environmental Portfolio focusing on wind energy and wildlife interactions through the ECO wind and IEA Wind Task 34 (WREN) programs. Prior to joining NREL Laura received her MS in wildlife and conservation biology from North Carolina State University.
