Luis Caballero's research focuses on the development of innovative methods for the design, synthesis, characterization, and evaluation of high-throughput catalytic systems to advance smart autonomous processes. By using continuous fluidic approaches and advanced control algorithms, his work aims to enable the conversion of renewable and waste carbon sources—such as biogas, biomass, plastics, and CO₂—into sustainable fuels and chemicals. His research supports interdisciplinary projects across chemical engineering, materials science, and chemistry to drive progress in catalytic carbon transformation and scalable energy solutions.
