Personal Profile

Mark Chung leads the Mobility Infrastructure and Impacts Analysis group in NREL’s Center for Integrated Mobility Sciences. With expertise in techno-economics analysis and life-cycle assessment, the group focuses on hydrogen production, transmission, distribution, storage, end use, and systems integration as well as behind-the-meter storage to support electric vehicle charging. Prior to joining NREL, he served various roles—energy analysis spanning renewables and fossil fuels, commercial development, and leadership—at Wood Mackenzie, MPRL E&P, Encana, and Bentek Energy.
