Personal Profile

Matthew Kotarbinski is a policy research analyst at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) Flatirons Campus in Boulder, Colorado. During his time at NREL, he has focused on the nexus of policy on the state- and federal-level and clean energy technologies. Current and previous work has included the siting & development of large-scale renewable projects, integrating policy incentives within the technoeconomic analysis of various hybrid systems, and supporting continued research for reducing deployment barriers of hybrid power plants and energy systems.
