Mayukh Datta is a researcher within the Integrated Sciences of the Energy Transition group within the Strategic Energy Analysis and Decision Sciences Center. His work focuses on increasing electricity access, affordability, and reliability for working class communities through clean energy policy research and decision-making support. Datta's work encompasses workforce development, barriers to clean energy adoption, scenario planning, and rural energy policy. His past research has been on virtual power plants, rural electric cooperatives, tribal energy systems, and energy affordability. Datta also has professional experience in energy consulting and distilling complex technical information to policymakers and the general public.
