Michael Griffin received a B.S. in agricultural and biological engineering from the University of Florida and a Ph.D. in chemical and biological engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He is a senior research engineer at NREL, where he focuses on catalyst and process development to transform biomass and waste-derived feedstocks into renewable fuels, chemicals, and materials.
