Dr. Mohammad Rahimi joined NREL in 2016 as a postdoctoral researcher and is now a scientist in the Computational Science Center. His research interests include computational fluid dynamics modeling of reacting flows, multiphase flows, and complex geometries with moving boundaries. He also has extensive experience with chemical kinetic modeling including sensitivity analysis, uncertainty analysis, mechanism reduction, and reaction pathway analysis. His current projects include high-performance computing using open-source and commercial computational fluid dynamics packages.
