Personal Profile

Nick Grue is a senior resilience analyst and project manager in the Strategic Energy Security group within NREL's Energy Security and Resilience Center. His area of expertise involves installation and facility resilience, foundational resilience research, and application of resilience into operations and planning efforts. Grue has conducted numerous installation-level resilience assessments for public and private organizations and helped develop agencywide resilience frameworks.

Grue joined NREL in 2012 as a geospatial data scientist, a role he held for 9 years. He contributed to the development of the Renewable Energy Potential model and studied solar and wind renewable resources domestically and internationally.
