Olivia McIntee joined NREL in September 2024. Her research focuses on fabricating novel interfacial polymerization membranes to create scalable technologies for direct-air capture and critical mineral recovery. McIntee combines her experience in membrane fabrication and microscopy to analyze structure-property relationships to advance membrane engineering toward high-performance and durable membrane materials.
