Personal Profile

Ramin Faramarzi is a principal engineer at NREL's Buildings and Thermal Systems Center. With extensive experience in building science, HVAC/R energy efficiency, and building energy modeling, he leads collaborative research projects and strategic partnerships in Southern California. Previously, he founded and managed SCE’s Technology Test Centers for nearly 20 years and served as an adjunct faculty at California Polytechnic University, Pomona. He is the author of numerous journal publications and co-author of ASHRAE Refrigeration Handbook chapters.
