Personal Profile

Ruth Baranowski began her NREL career in 2002, providing communications support for wind and solar research. In addition to stakeholder outreach efforts as part of WINDExchange, the U.S. Department of Energy's platform for disseminating wind energy information, Baranowski has been involved with projects related to the wind energy workforce, wind project recycling and the circular economy, wind energy supply chain, wind resource mapping, distributed wind, and the Grand Challenges in Wind Energy Science. In addition to her work at NREL, Baranowski has produced wind energy information products for organizations including the American Wind Energy Association, the Wind Energy Foundation, the Distributed Wind Energy Association, and the International Renewable Energy Agency.
