Ryan J. Tancin joined NREL in 2022. He takes on multiple projects aimed at advancing lithium (Li)-ion battery technology through ultrafast-laser processing of battery materials and developing methods for readying these methods for high-throughput industrial manufacturing. He has gained expertise in electrochemistry, Li-ion battery technology, and solid-state electrolytes.
