Personal Profile

Sally Williams is a researcher in NREL’s Energy Security and Resilience Center. She conducts applied research and analysis focused on the water-energy-food nexus to provide decision support to stakeholders internationally. Sally’s research focuses on a systems approach to energy security and resilience – tying together analysis of water, agricultural, and energy systems, as well as sociocultural dynamics, in resilience assessments to inform holistic decision-making. Prior to NREL, Sally was an associate scientist at the Stockholm Environment Institute supporting international technical assistance and capacity building efforts across Central Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.
