Personal Profile

Sam joined NREL in 2012 working for the Offshore Wind and Water Power team. Since joining NREL, Sam has provided project management and business development support for multiple large initiatives including the Atmosphere to Electrons (A2e) and Institute for Advanced Composites Manufacturing and Innovation (IACMI) programs. Sam is currently working as a research project manager with a focus on wind-wildlife impact minimization. Sam's role includes managing field projects for validating wildlife detection and deterrent technology at NREL's Flatirons Campus and contributing to wildlife research collaborations including IEA Wind Task 34 (WREN).
