Scott Belding is a researcher analyzing clean energy policies both domestically and abroad, informing policymaker decisions, and finding innovative pathways to effectively deploy clean energy. He was once a graduate research intern at NREL, studying energy resilience for U.S. Department of Defense bases, creating a model to support microgrid request for qualification assessments, and distilling cybersecurity protocols.
