Seung Eun Lee conducts research at NREL, focusing on membrane-based separations for recovery of monomers and metals from depolymerized plastic streams, while also developing methods for continuous mode operation. She is dedicated to designing, operating, and scaling innovative separation processes, including membrane-based techniques, liquid-liquid extraction, and distillation methods.
