Steve Harvey specializes in using time-of-flight secondary mass spectrometry (TOF-SIMS) to investigate the chemical distribution of elements and compounds in solid materials to help figure out the science behind performance and reliability changes. He is a materials scientist with a background in defect chemistry of oxide materials, diffusion, and surface characterization.
